How we read Scripture shapes how we live. In this session of Colossians: Rooted and Renewed, we step back before verse-by-verse study to learn how to read God’s Word with care, confidence, and joy. Together, we explore Colossians 2:6–7, the DWELL method, and how Scripture interprets Scripture, tracing God’s consistent pattern from Exodus to Colossians.

This message will encourage you to slow down, read attentively, and grow rooted in Christ as His Word dwells richly in you.

Colossians has often been described as Romans in miniature because it is a concise, Christ-centered letter packed with rich theology and real-life application. Written to believers who were faithful but vulnerable to drifting, Colossians brings everything back into focus: who Christ is, what He has accomplished, and why He is enough. We’ll walk through Paul’s letter and rediscover the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus…learning what it means to be deeply rooted in truth and continually renewed in the way we think, believe, and live.
