What does discipleship actually look like in everyday life? Follow Me is a discipleship pathway from Dwelling Richly designed to help ordinary believers grow in their faith, understand how to disciple others, and discover that helping someone follow Jesus may be more accessible than they think.

Discipleship begins with God’s Word. Rooted in Colossians 3:16, we believe lasting growth happens when Scripture dwells richly in us and is lived out in faithful, connected relationships. Dwelling is the key – and out of that flows the desire and skill to make disciples.

Discipleship is the intentional process of growing in Christ through Scripture, prayer, obedience, and faithful relationships. The heart of Dwelling Richly is rooted in discipleship. Jesus commanded: “Go therefore and make disciples…” Matthew 28:19
Discipleship is not optional for believers. It is the call of every Christian to grow and to help others grow. At Dwelling Richly, discipleship means:
- Learning to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength
- Studying Scripture deeply and applying it faithfully
- Walking in encouragement, accountability, and grace
- Multiplying what God has taught you into the life of someone else
We disciple and train you to disciple. We train you and connect you in intentional, Word-centered mentor relationships through the “Follow Me” workshops as well as in every Dwelling Richly study.
- Bible Study. All Dwelling Richly Bible studies have the option to be in a Grace Group led by a mentor who is trained to disciple their group. Join a Dwelling Richly study any time. CURRENT STUDY
- Training. We offer “Follow Me” a series of four training workshops open to anyone who would like to be equipped to disciple others whether with Dwelling Richly as one of our mentors or just in your “regular life” at home, church, relationships, etc. Current “Follow Me” session
- Lead a Dwelling Richly Grace Group – meet in your home or church with a Grace Group for the current Dwelling Richly study
DISCIPLE OTHERS:
You don’t have to be a “Bible expert.” You simply need to be willing to grow and to invest in others. Paul told Timothy: “What you have heard from me… entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2 That is the vision. Faithful people. Entrusting truth. Multiplying disciples.

“Follow Me” is simple, Bible-based training for anyone looking to grow in their faith and especially learn more about what following Jesus looks like as a true disciple. “Foundations” is first in a 4-part series Dwelling Richly is offering to help disciple believers to love God heart, soul, mind, and strength. All workshops are offered free. Donations are accepted to support this ministry.
1) Follow Me: Foundations
This introductory workshop lays the foundation for everything that follows.
What is discipleship?
What does it mean to follow Jesus?
How does discipleship fit into everyday life?
2) Follow Me: Leading Conversations
Learn simple ways to encourage spiritual conversations, ask meaningful questions, listen well, and help others process life through a biblical lens.
3) Follow Me: Studying the Bible Together
Discover practical tools for opening God’s Word with another person, asking good questions, and helping others engage Scripture with confidence.
4) Follow Me: Walking with Others
Explore the relational side of discipleship: encouragement, accountability, prayer, hospitality, patience, and walking alongside others through life’s challenges.
By participating in Follow Me, you’ll:
• Develop greater confidence in your own walk with Christ
• Learn practical ways to encourage others spiritually
• Gain tools for studying God’s Word with another person
• Understand the role of a discipling mentor
• Become equipped to serve as a Dwelling Richly Mentoring Leader
You don’t need to become someone else before God can use you.
Current Workshop: Foundations: Saturday, August 8, 4-7pm | In Person and via Zoom | Open to all believers seeking to grow in discipleship. | Required for those serving as Dwelling Richly Mentoring Leaders during the 2026–27 Bible study season.
