90 Days Later

Thoughts · 2 minute read

90 days later she was gone.

I share this not to be melancholy, but to remind us all – myself included –
to enjoy your times with one another to create memories,
make something lasting, do, be, enjoy…
Laugh…
Smile.
Appreciate every breath.

I have this day -our last day- where we were both able to sit together an
laugh freely and share together a gift she actually gave to me – creativity.

She was the most artistically gifted woman I knew –
and this was about the best final moment I could have asked for…
Even though I didn’t know it would be our last.

There’s plenty of reasons to be distant.
Don’t be.

There’s a list of offenses that justify your hardness.
Don’t be.

There’s too much to do and things are too hard to say…
don’t let those be reasons you miss these moments.
Create them.

Seize them.

Embrace and cherish them.

Live gratefully and openly…
and while you’re living why not be artsy too?

Love covers a multitude of sins and frees your soul to live.
