An Invitation to Renew in 2022

Thoughts · < 1 minute read

Don’t you long for renewal? Don’t you feel a need in your heart for a shift in some areas of your life? The stressful seasons and life issues we face are always rooted in the spiritual realm – 2022 is the year for you to be renewed spiritually so every other area – your relationships, finances, and health find their proper place and true renewal.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me…” Psalm 51:10

What David the shepherd king knew is what you also know deep down – that our right spirit begins in our hearts and only God can truly make it new. David prayed,

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.”

David knew that a clean and renewed heart finds its only hope in the influence and presence of God.

So, right here I would like to invite you to be intentional about that. Make the first and best decision of the new year be the one where you are purposeful in your relationship with the God who renews. Be with Him in prayer, worship, and reading His Word. Before your planner fills with appointments and vacation plans, kids’ schedules, and meetings – let those important things take a back seat to the most important thing – and find true renewal by finding it in Him.

Blessings to you and Happy New Year!
