Galatians: “Free & Filled” – a Dwelling Richly Bible study
Why “Free and Filled?” Because Paul shows us that, through Christ, we are set free from the burden of trying to earn God’s favor. But it doesn’t stop there. We’re not just freed from something; we’re also filled with something…God’s Spirit! That filling empowers us to live a life of joy, love, and purpose, rooted in grace.
Galatians is an incredible letter written by the apostle Paul, and it’s full of wisdom for every believer. It’s a book about freedom, in particular, the true freedom found in Christ, not in following a bunch of rules or checking off religious boxes. Paul reminds us that Jesus did the work, and our job is to trust in Him.
We’ll explore what it means to live by faith and experience the grace and freedom God offers us. Along the way, we’ll wrestle with some big questions like: What does it mean to be free in Christ? How can I walk in the Spirit, and not get bogged down in guilt or pressure to be perfect? Don’t worry, you’re not alone in figuring all this out! We’ll unpack it together, step by step.
This journey through Galatians will encourage you, challenge you, and help you see how deeply God loves you and how that love leads to true freedom.
As always, I write the Dwelling Richly studies with a desire that we wouldn’t just “do” Bible study but would truly “let the Word of Christ dwell” in us richly. No matter where you are in this season of life, you will find this study will help you grow in your faith and guide you in developing good habits as a maturing follower of Jesus Christ.
