What We Believe

What We Believe

Dwelling Richly Ministries holds to the historic Christian faith, grounded in the authority of Scripture and centered on the saving work of Jesus Christ. Our Statement of Faith reflects core biblical doctrines shared by believers across the global church.

Dwelling Richly Ministries was founded out of a simple but deeply formative calling: to take Colossians 3:16 seriously and to live it out fully. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” is more than a verse we admire; it is the guiding vision of this ministry.
We enthusiastically and intentionally dwell in the Word and let the Word of Christ dwell in us…richly.

We believe God’s Word is meant to take up residence in our lives. We believe it is a joy to allow Scripture to shape our thinking, strengthen our hearts, and overflow into worship, wisdom, and everyday obedience. This ministry exists to help believers move beyond “doing” Bible study into a life where we actually “let the Word of Christ dwell” in us richly. Scripture is not just read, it is known, loved, understood, and lived.

Through Bible studies, Grace Groups, teaching, workshops, retreats, and shared rhythms of discipleship, Dwelling Richly equips women to engage God’s Word with heart, soul, mind, and strength. Our desire is not simply information, but transformation—lives rooted in truth and renewed by the living Word of Christ.

The leadership of Dwelling Richly is committed without reservation to this Statement of Faith:

STATEMENT of FAITH

  • About God – There is one God, eternally existent in three persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • About Jesus – Jesus Christ was fully God, yet fully man, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life, performing many miracles. We acknowledge His substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension and individual mediation for us, and eagerly await His personal return in power and glory.
  • About the Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells the believer  convicting of sin and enables us to live a holy life and to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • About Mankind – God created Adam and Eve, male and female, in His image to live holy and separated to Him. However, they sinned and humans are by nature and choice separated from God and a reunion, called salvation, is possible only by faith in Jesus Christ, apart from works, through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit.
  • About the Bible –  The Bible, as originally given by God, is divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice.
  • All true believers are united by the Holy Spirit as the church, the Body of Christ.
  • About the Resurrection Everyone will be resurrected-the saved to everlasting life, the unsaved to everlasting torment.

THE APOSTLES CREED

We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.
